established 1754, working towards eternity
Here's the latest news on Guinston's new building project and fundraising campaign.
Phase 1 is complete!
In August , Guinston's congregation approved a Building Committee motion to enter into a building contract with Markey Builders of York, PA. To celebrate, Guinston held a groundbreaking service and ceremony on Sunday September 14th at 9:45 AM.
We documented the building progress at our building blog.
Work is now complete on Phase 1. Guinston celebrated a ribbon cutting and dedication service on 30 August. Please feel free to come out and take a tour of our new facility.
Our new 9,750 sq. ft. building includes a 4,500 sq. ft. multi-purpose hall, a narthex with a coffee bar and seating, a kitchen, classrooms, a nursery/infant room, and restroom facilities. Exterior improvements include additional parking and connecting sidewalks to existing buildings.
We did it!!!!
In 2007, Guinston began raising funds to for the construction of this new facility, which will accommodate our growth and allow us to continue to serve our community.
We did it! We raised every penny of the $1,250,000 needed for Phase 1 effort. We are amazed by how God has and continues to bless Guinston. The fundraising committee wishes to thank each and every individual whose prayer, generosity, and tireless efforts made this accomplishment a reality. Now onto Phase 2...
