Mason Dixon Community Services is asking for holiday items including canned pineapple, canned yams, stuffing, gravy, instant mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, cake mixes and frosting. Personal items such as toilet paper, laundry detergent, deodorant, soap, diapers, wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste and shampoo are just a sampling of items that are always needed. The Sunday Evening Bible Study begins at 6:00 p.m. and will study the book, “How to Read the Bible for all its Worth” by Gordon D. Fee. The book will be provided free for all attendees. Following the worship service on October 4, a potluck luncheon will be held. It is designed to help us get to know each other. Look for the sign-up sheet in the Narthex!
The October yard sale will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Guinston Presbyterian Church. All proceeds are directed to mission work.
